Cianfarani, Anthony R., age 86, died June 9, 2019 in Royal Oak. Born on January 28, 1933 in Detroit to Domenico and Gerolama Cianfarani. Beloved husband of Ellen (nee Gysin). Loving father of Kim (Rick) Hoover, Judy (John) Davids and Terry Onica. Proud grandfather of Mike (Christa) Hoover, Lisa Hoover, Ricky Hoover, Daniel Hoover, Dylan Davids, William Davids and great grandfather of Samuel Hoover. Dear brother of Minnie DeNardis and the late Rudy Cianfarani.

Tony was a longtime member of St. Mary Magdalen Church. His favorite food was pasta and he enjoyed watching Seinfeld, The Godfather and Gone With The Wind. His hobbies included woodworking and playing golf. He enjoyed golf vacations, especially trips to Myrtle Beach. Tony loved the time he spent with his family and relished the times they spent together celebrating holidays, traveling, and having picnics in the backyard. He was very proud of his daughters and he truly appreciated how much they cared for him and his wife.

Visitation Tuesday 4-8 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. (4 blocks E of Woodward), Royal Oak. Funeral Wednesday, in-state 10:30 am until time of Mass 11 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park. Interment with military honors rendered by the US Navy will follow at Oakview Cemetery.
