Jerome B. Lewis, 83, of 871 West Main Street, Plymouth Township, died Saturday afternoon at 2 at his home, following an illness. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9 from the home with a requiem mass at 9:30 in St. Vincent's Church. Burial will be in parish cemetery, Larksville.
Mr. Lewis was born in Plymouth and had resided in that area all his life. For many years, he was employed at the Avondale Colliery of the Glen Alden Coal Company, retiring 20 years ago. He was a member of St. Vincent's Church and its Holy Name Society.
Besides his widow, the former Susan Quinn, he is survived by two children: Mrs. Sara Hunlock, a teacher in the Plymouth Township Schools, and William Lewis, New York City.
