GEORGE W. PHILLIPS SR., a retired Camden County taxicab owner, died Sunday. He was 66 and lived in Cherry Hill.
Phillips owned and operated the Kingston Cab Co. for more that 20 years until his retirement in 1981. A Cherry Hill resident for 25 years, Phillips was a former driver for Yellow Cab Co. of Philadelphia. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, the former Catherine A. Fenias; a daughter, Lynn Geier; a son, George W. Jr.; a brother, Paul; and one grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Murray-Paradee Funeral Home, 601 W. Marlton Pike, Cherry Hill, where friends may call between 7 and 9 tonight. Burial will be in Locustwood Memorial Park, Route 70, Cherry Hill.
