Pearl Augusta Tipton, the daughter of A. B. Tipton and Malinda A. Tipton, now deceased, was born at Adrian, Bates County, Missouri, August 15, 1898. She passed away at the St. Frances Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, at 6 o'clock pm Monday, January 28, 1929, following an operation for appendicitis, at the age of 30 years, 5 months and 13 days.
She is survived by two brothers, Dr. A. E. Tipton and Dr. F. B. Tipton, both of Wichita, Kas., with whom she made her home.
She was a member of the Christian Church and taught Sunday School for over five years.
Funeral services were at the Mervin Christian Church Wednesday afternoon, January 30, at 1 o'clock. Interment was made in the West Point Cemetery.
