Barbara A. Izzett, 84, a lifelong Wakefield resident, died on Monday, June 1 at the Halycon House on Methuen.
Born in Wakefield on May 4, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Mary (O'Donnell) Carbone.
Mrs. Izzett was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1953. She was a retired hairdresser for Crystal Beauty Salon in Wakefield and was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Wakefield.
Mrs. Izzett was the wife of the late Gerald Izzett. She is survived by her son Kenneth P. Izzett and his wife Maritza of Methuen, her three daughters; Kathleen E. Goodwin of Frederick, Maryland, Karen A. McCaulley and her husband Jim of Maryville, Tennessee and Kristy M. McSheehy of Stoneham, her two brothers; David Carbone of Woburn and Robert Carbone of Wakefield. Mrs. Izzett is also survived by her six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother John Carbone.
