Edward F. Jaber, 77, of 2311 NW 102 Way, Pembroke Pines, Fla., died Tuesday, June 18, 1996.
He was born Sept. 19, 1918, in Fond d ac, a son of Louis and Sophia Habib Jaber. On Oct. 1, 1945, he married Raffaela "Leila" LaVita in Rome, Italy.
Mr. Jaber spent 23 years in the U.S. Army when he retired from service. He was then employed for Pavlow Office Furniture in Miami, Fla., and a warehouse manager and expediter until retiring from there in 1987.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Juanita Pla and her husband Ramon, Gina Benedelis and her husband Juan, and Nadia Hartman ad her husband Jack, all of Miami, Fla., and Tammy Storani and her husband Norby of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; four grandchildren; one sister, Seohia Koshnick and her husband Fred of Lamartine, one brother, Mitch and his wife Eva of Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Jaber of Fond du Lac and Betty Jaber of Ripon; and six sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, and their spouses , from his wife's family.
Preceding him in death were two brother, one sister and one grandchild.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lauderdale, Fa.
