Karen was raised in Orchard Farm Missouri by Theodore and Bernardine Boerding. Together her parents installed in her and her 7 siblings the loving devotion that she put into every aspect of her life.
With that same devotion she carried it on to her work where she decorated cakes for over 40 years. It was through her work where she met her husband Doug with whom they had 3 children Gus, Jake, and Anna.
By her request she has been cremated and her family is holding a wake at 9AM and a celebration of life mass at 10AM on Friday January 26, 2024 at St. Cletus Parish in St. Charles Missouri.
