Todd Darwin Hairston, age 62, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on January 10, 2024. He was born May 11, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, to Adrienne Hairston (Pittman) and John Thomas Hairston Jr.
Todd was a loving, gentle, and humble man. He met the love of his life, Melanie Lynn Rhyne, and they were married for 30 wonderful years. He was a follower of Christ, an amazing husband and a family man who adored his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Todd spent the early years of his life in Mena, Arkansas, enjoying the outdoors. He loved all animals, especially his dogs, and the sport of hunting and fishing. He loved to sing while playing his guitar for family and friends. Todd took on life without complaint and was a true inspiration to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife: Melanie Lynn Hairston; daughter: Kelly Marie Locke and husband Chris; son: Jacob Todd Hairston; grandchildren: Addison Claire Hairston, Levi Christopher Locke, and Lexx Hairston Locke; brother: John Thomas Hairston III (Sonny) and wife Karen; son Lucas and sister: Jennifer Burnett; sons Chris Cain and Jesse Burnett.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, step-father: Dick Horton and step-brother: Greg Horton.
