Red attended Camden Frontier Schools. Throughout his career, he owned and operated an excavating company, trucking company and also served as cemetery sexton for Cambria Township for many years. Red enjoyed fishing and taking long rides around the area. He also loved animals, especially his dog, Rufus.
Survivors include his beloved friend; son, Michael Todd of Cambria; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; step-siblings, Jim (Judy) Kollar of Hicksville, OH and Donna Kollar of Hillsdale; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Julie "Squeek" Todd; brothers, George, Jr. and Donald; and sister, Pat.
A memorial visitation for Darel "Red" Todd will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 from 2- 5 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading. There will be a brief celebration of life service beginning at 4:30 PM, led by Rev. Alan Fenstermaker. Burial will be held at a later date.
