Rose Lee Adcock Blackburn, 83, died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at home. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park.
A native of Madison County, Mrs. Blackburn had lived in the Jackson area for the past 8 years, moving from Hammond, La. She was a retired homemaker and was active in the Senior Citizen's Club in Hammond. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and enjoyed ceramics and crocheting.
Survivors include: husband, E. Byron Blackburn of Clinton; son & daughter-in-law, Larry "Sonny" & Lillian Frazier of Clinton; daughter & son-in-law, Ann & Julius Aranyosi of Albany, La.; brother, George Adcock Jr. of Byram; sisters, Katherine Simpson and Dorothy A. Carpenter, both of Byram; and eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
