Mr. Harry Bradford Allen, age 80, of White, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Tiger Lily Estates.
Harry was born in Pine Log, GA, October 1, 1943, son of the late Gus Robert Allen and Viola Maude Thurman Allen. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Arlene Lorren Allen and brother, Dennis Richard Allen. He was a member Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Harry was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Lockheed Martin. He was a member of Canton Masonic Lodge #77 where he served as past master and served as past grand commander of the Grand Commandery of Georgia. An avid Braves fan, Harry took great pride serving as an usher for 12 years. He enjoyed traveling, old cars, trains and never turned down a good cup of coffee.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Carri and Matthew Dunlap; grandchildren, Patrick Colosi, Chris and Carrie Colosi, Hannah and Ryan Salter, and Eric Dunlap; great grandchildren, Jackson, Everleigh, and Charlotte Salter; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Mavis Allen; sisters, Helen Smith and Patsy J. Allen; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Rydal with Rev. Michael Westmoreland officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Patrick Colosi, Chris Colosi, Ryan Salter, Eric Dunlap, Lanny Allen, and Ethan Hulsey.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
