Pamela Marie Peil passed away in her home suddenly on January 11, 2024. Born in Vallejo on December 25, 1947 to Robert and Audrey Davis, Pam graduated from Hogan High School in 1966. She married Gary Howard after graduation and had two children whom she adored. In 1982, Pam married Ronald Peil. The couple divorced in 1990. As a child, Pam shared a bedroom with her grandmother. This influenced her desire to help seniors. She worked as a CNA in a Vallejo nursing home for many years but spent the last sixteen years of her working career at the Veterans Home of California, Yountville. After retirement, Pam volunteered at various organizations, including the Food Bank of Contra Costa/Solano, the American Canyon Library, and the Napa Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. Pam was a sweet, compassionate person with a colorful sense of humor and outspoken personality. She loved horror movies, camping and swimming, playing card and board games, and collecting frog figurines. More than anything, Pam loved her family and friends and little dog, Daisy. Pam is survived by her son, Brian, daughter, Jeannie (Mike), two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of family in England.
