Mrs. Amanda E. Fasken, died at the home of her son, Oscar Fasken, three miles southeast of Jasper, Monday, October 9.
The funeral was held at the home Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. J. W. Moore of Golden City having charge of the service.
• • Mrs. Fasken was nearly 85 years. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and came to this county many years ago.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters, viz: L. Fasken of Kansas City, Oscar Fasken and Mrs. S. M. Miller and Mrs. Robert Gresham residing near Jasper, and James and John Fasken.
