Charles Edward Adams, age 89, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a member of Parkway Baptist church in Fort Oglethorpe, GA.

Charles was born in Henagar, AL., to the late Joseph Leon Adams and Jewell Izetta Adams. He served his country in the U.S. Army from July 11, 1956 to January 29, 1958.

Charles was also preceded in death by his Brothers, Preston Adams of Pisgah, James Adams of Rossville and Wendell Adams of Rossville.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 66 years, Brenda Adams of Rossville, daughters, Valerie Scott of Rossville and Tammy Fowlkes of Rossville, granddaughter, Aerial Fowlkes(his pride and joy) of Rossville, sister, Mabel Nicholson of Rossville, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. David Sampson officiating. Interment will follow in the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, and prior to the service on Wednesday.
