Former Elwood Resident Dies Kokomo Home
Thomas J. Bright,
former Elwood resident, died at 7 o'clock last night at his home six and one-half miles northeast of Kokomo, of paralysis, after an illness of two weeks.
He was born in Elwood July 2, 1855, and was united in marriage to Mrs. Mary Frye March 1, 1919.
Mr. Bright was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge here.
Surviving besides the widow are three step-sons, James, John, and Charles Frye, all of Kokomo, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Daniel Hullinger, of near Kokomo.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Zions Church, nine miles northeast of Kokomo, Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock and burial will follow in the Elwood cemetery.
