David L. Bruner, 78, of Pendleton, passed away peacefully after an extended illness with his family by his side on February 1, 2024, at Community Hospital Anderson.

He was born on February 4, 1945, in Anderson, Indiana, the son of John and Verna Bruner.

Dave was an Anderson High School graduate with the class of 1963.

He was a tool and die maker, and retired from General Motors. Dave also owned his own tool and die company for over 50 years.

He was avid Colts and NASCAR fan, enjoyed boating, fishing, and entertained his family and friends for many summers at Lake Tippecanoe. For over 25 years, he and his wife, Francine, have wintered in Palm Harbor, FL, and they attended shows at Ruth Eckerd Hall where he was a member, and enjoyed many beautiful sunsets together.

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Francine Bruner; daughters, Kimberly (Larry) Gregurash, Jennifer (Jordan Hodson) Krebs, and Donna (Rusty Conway) Montgomery; grandchildren, Lindsay Arch, Justin (Kayleigh) Flowers, Drew (Baylee) Daffron, Zach (Alex) Stephenson, Gannon Krebs, Milli Boemper, Eli Montogomery, Vivian and Willa Conway, and Ethan and Emma Hodson; great-grandchildren, Landon, Kenzie, Kohen, Aspen, Oaklen, Iris, Clyde, and Zeke. Also, surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Lora Flowers; and sister, Louise Warren.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park.
