Charles E. Phillips of Sonora Dies At 96
SONORA -- Charles E. Phillips, 96, a retired farmer of Sonora, died in a local hospital yesterday following many years of failing health.
He was a native of Vermont.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Terzich-Wilson Funeral Home at 4PM today. Interment will be in Mountain Shadow Cemetery, Sonora.
Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Ethyl Colcleaser and Mrs. Louise Heim of Modesto, and a nephew, Albert Scheble of Sonora.
