Millie entered this world on November 17, 1959 in Shelby County, Tennessee, born to Jerry Wayne Ferguson and Betty Ruth Skinner. She departed from us on January 30, 2024, in Davidson County, Tennessee.

Millie earned her degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She was a proud member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and served as the Little Sister of the Phi Sigma Kappa Fraternity. Throughout her career, Millie held various roles, including Branch Manager for Norrell Temporary Services and PageNet. She also owned "Maid for a Day" and served as the Marketing Director for Nortel Networks. In recent years, she served as the National Partner Manager at Brookdale Senior Living.

Left to cherish her memory are her children:

·Adam Blake Abrams of Murfreesboro, Tennessee

·Lauren Ashley Abrams-Petty (Chelsea) of Nashville, Tennessee

She is survived by her mother, Betty Ruth Skinner Ferguson of Drummonds, Tennessee, her brother, Marty Wayne Ferguson (Cathy) of Randolph, Tennessee. Over the past 12 years, she found companionship and love with Ken Upchurch from Nashville, Tennessee. Millie is also fondly remembered by her step-grandchildren Asa and Leighton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is reunited in eternity with her father Jerry Wayne Ferguson, nephew David Lindley Abrams, and grandparents:

·F.L. "John" Ferguson

·Odell "Dell" Gross Ferguson

A visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 5th, from 4 pm to 8 pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209.

Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 6th, with visitation at 2:00 and a graveside service at 3:00 at Shackelford Funeral Directors, 993 TN-13 S, Collinwood, TN 38450.
