Judith has been a Batavia Resident since the 1960's with her husband John. She did a lot in the community, she was the editor of the Batavia cookbook, she participated in and supported the Special Olympics, and worked on the Batavia Sequential Committee with fundraising. She worked at UPS in St. Charles for 10 years, she then went on to work at Jewel-Osco in Batavia for many years. She loved her jobs in customer service as she enjoyed talking to people and getting to know them. She and her husband John often went to their property in Wisconsin where they enjoyed cooking out, fireworks by the lake, boating and spending time with family and grandkids. Judith adored her family and loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her sons; Bill (Deborah) Hoag, Bob (Beckie) Hoag, Brad Hoag; her grandchildren, Jack Hoag, Danielle (Tim) Kilps, Brandon Hoag; her great-grandchildren, Samuel Kilps and Penny Lane Kilps and a nephew, Ron Mackert. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband John Hoag; her sisters, Arlene Robinson and Eunice Mackert.
A visitation will take place Monday, February 12, 2024, from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave, Batavia, IL 60510. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Moss Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow immediately after the service at River Hills Memorial Park.
