Freda was born to John Burma. They had a daughter named Friederike Wilhelmmine.

Freda attained the age of 53 years, 7 months and 17 days.

The following is from the Lennox Diamond Jubilee Book.

In 1884 Mr. Johnson came to the Lennox community and in 1893 he was married to Mrs. Freda Burma.

For 18 years they farmed two miles south of Lennox. Mrs. Johnson passed away August 21, 1911 and following her death the widower moved to Lennox where he continued his home until his death. He died May 28, 1932.

Mrs. Johnson was born at Eisinghusen, near Leer, Germany, in 1858.

She married Johannes Burma in February, 1881, and in March of that year the couple immigrated to the United States, going directly to the Lennox vicinity, where she resided until her death.

After the death of her first husband she was married to Bruno Johnson, August, 1894. She was a member of the German Reformed church and of the ladies aid society.

To her first union four children were born, namely: Dick Burma, Mrs. William Elcock, Ben Burma, and Mrs. Henry T. Knock.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson were the parents of three children, reading as follows:
Bruno Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Jerry Miller, and Mrs. Ben Knock, Jr.
