"Mrs. Anna L. Pfaffmann, 76 years old, 7240 Belleview avenue, a resident of Kansas City sixty-five years, died unexpectedly of heart disease yesterday in Chicago, according to word received here. She was the mother of H. G. Pfaffmann of the home, vice-president of the Burger-Baird Engraving company.


She was the widow of Henry C. Pfaffmann, a Kansas City painting contractor. She went to Chicago about six weeks ago to visit relatives. Before she moved to Kansas City, she had lived in Reading, Pa.


Besides the son, Mrs. Pfaffmann leaves a sister, Mrs. John Howland of Galesburg, Ill.; and a brother, George Paffman of Chicago." The Kansas City Star, June 24, 1938
