Marion T. Ness (nee Triplett) age 81, died at Genesis Multi-Medical Center, Towson, MD. She was one of six children and daughter of the late Earl J. Triplett and the late Myrtha M. Triplett (nee Dixon). She was born on May 26, 1925 in Butler, MD.
She worked in banking for 34 years beginning in 1953 with Pikesville Peoples Bank. She retired as Assistant Manager from the Reisterstown branch of Nations Bank, now Bank of America. She enjoyed her work and frequently was the person requested for consultation by the patrons, due to her genuine, caring interest in the needs of the customers.
She is predeceased by her parents, by her husband, Carroll B. Ness, her sister, Eleanor M. Mosner and her brother, William D. Triplett.
She had a genuine love of people and many are the recipients of her loving acts of kindness and hospitality throughout her life. Her home was always open to friends and family and for many years remained the center of the family's unity.
She was a student of the Bible and drew much comfort from the solid hope found within its pages, a hope that she was happy to share with others. She enjoyed serving in the Reisterstown Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, of which she was an active member.
