Georgia Reynolds Bean, 76, of Clarksville, Arkansas, was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on July 23, 1947, to George "Otto" Reynolds and Pauline Kruger Reynolds. She passed away on February 13, 2024, in Clarksville. She worked as a school teacher for 26 years and was a small business owner. She was also a First Baptist Church of Clarksville member, a Beta Sigma Phi member since 1977, a College of the Ozarks and Arkansas Tech University Alumni, co-owner of Bean Furniture, and an Arkansas Furniture Association member.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Bean; her son, Paul Bean; her daughter, Tammy Bean; her sister, Susan Daniel; and her grandchildren, Noah Bray, Joshua Bean, Amelia Kraus, and Zachary Bean.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
Funeral Services are at 2 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Clarksville, with Brother Darrell Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Joshua Bean, Zachary Bean, Noah Bray, Erich Green, Amelia Kraus, and Kaylyn Anderson. Honorary Pallbearers are her Beta Sigma Phi Sisters: Rona Carethers, Janie Gresham, Margaret Griggs, Linda King, DeAnna Morgan, Sandy Sikes, Kathy Standridge, Maradee Stroupe, Judy Thornton, Charlotte Wilson, Kay Pitts, and Teri Bridges.
