Daniel E. Ruby, 84, died on Monday, April 7, 2009, at Liberty Nursing Center. Dan worked at Woodward High School in the cafeteria kitchen. He was a member of the St. Adalbert Church Holy Name Society and was a church usher, he also belonged to the Zablocki Senior Center. Surviving to cherish his memory is his sister, Cecelia Wilk and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Anna Ruby; brothers, William and Joe and sister, Lucille Huston. Visitation for Daniel will be on Monday, April 13, 2009, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Gasiorowski - Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1757 Tremainsville Rd. (at Sylvania). Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 14, 2009, 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment services at Calvary Cemetery. The family requests that any memorial donation in Daniel's name be made to Heartland Hospice.
