Arthur J. Reilly, a well known resident of Dracut, died Saturday afternoon at St. John's Hospital. He was born in Lowell the son of the late James and the late Mary (Clare) Reilly and was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church of Dracut. He was retired from Eastern Regractories Co., of Belmont where he was employed as a boiler technician. He was a member of Local Union No. 409, The Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Lowell Mental Health Association, the Newman Club and the Chelmsford Lodge of Elks. During World War II he served as a Staff Sergeant for more than four years with the 644th Tank Destroyer Battalion under George Patton. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pauline S. (King) Reilly, retired principal of the Kenwood School in Dracut; a sister, Mrs. Humphrey (Mary) Moynihan of lowell; a brother, Edward P. Reilly also of Lowell; three nephews, Humphrey Moynihan, Jr., of Lowell; Howard Burnette of Atlanta, Georgia and Carl Rosenwald of Daytona Beach, Florida; two nieces, Mrs. Charles Stiles of Lowell and Mrs. John McGuire of Coral Beach, Florida.
