RUTH BEAN
Ruth Roberta Bean, 67, RD1, Spring Creek, died at 3:49 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18. 1983, at Warren General Hospital after a short illness.
She was born Sept. 8, 1915, in Endeavor to the late Peter and Estella Heath Fiscus. She was married to Clemmer Van Buren Bean on Aug. 18, 1933. After he died on Jan. 25, 1966, she continued to operate the family farm on Mickle Hill Rd., Garland.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Jacquelyn) Carlson, Jamestown, N.Y., Mrs. Janet Barnes and Mrs. Charles Denna Gern, both of Warren, Mrs. Eugene (Clarice) Conklin, Russell, Mrs. Victor (Deborah, Savitz, Grand Valley, and Pamela Bean, RD I, Spring Creek; eight sons. Alvin Bean and Dallas Bean both of Garland.
Pamela RD1 Spring Creek; eight sons, Alvin Bean and Dallas Bean, both of Garland, Paul Bean, Bruce Bean, Jeffrey Bean and Dayle Bean, all of RD 1 Spring Creek, John Bean, Pittsfield, and Doyle Bean, Grand Valley; 34 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Agnes Brecht; two brothers, Thomas Fiscus and Bruce Fiscus; her husband; her parents; and one grandson.
Friends will be received at the McKinney Funeral Home, Youngsville, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A private service will be held there for the immediate family only at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. William Jarrell, of the Church of the Nazarene, Warren, officiating. Burial will follow in Warren County Memorial Park.
