Spring Lake, N C - Services for John Andrew Audette, 46, of Sanford, who died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, will be at 10 am today at Adcock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gil P Wise officiating.

Burial will be at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery in Okolona at 2 pm Saturday under the direction of the funeral home.

He was a Vietnam veteran, who served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a retired Civil Service employee, and had been a member of Solid Rock United Methodist Church in Olivia.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda C Audette of Sanford; three stepsons, Joseph A High II of Roanoke Rapids and Justin D Verre of Seattle; one daughter, Amy M Audette of Fayetteville; one step daughter, Jennifer A Warren of Roanoke Rapids; one brother, Tom Audette of Houston; three step brothers, Jesse Tilgham and Price Tilgham, both of Leesville, La., and Jimmy Tilgham of Herber Springs, Ark.; one sister, Marie Brassfield of Houston; and one step sister, Sue Soden of Houston.

The family requests memorials be made to Solid Rock United Methodist Church, P O Box 605, Olivia, N C 28368.
