Mrs. Hettie A. Johns of Decatur died August 4, 1997. She is survived by her sons, Mr. William E. Johns, Mr. Thomas M. Johns, both of Stone Mountain, Mr. Clifford E. Johns, Flowery Branch; sisters, Mrs. Idelle Couch, Gainesville, Mrs. Geneva Foster, Atlanta; brothers, Mr. Melvin Ayers, Villa Rica, Mr. Willard Ayers, Mr. Gordon Ayers both of Gainesville, Mr. Reuben Ayers, Douglasville, Mr. Sanford Ayers, Dallas; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Dr. Julian T. Pipkin will officiate. Interment, Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
