"SUTHERLAND -- Mrs. Cleo F. Sutherland, 48, of 100 West Armour, died yesterday at the Research Hospital where she had been a patient two months. Mrs. Sutherland was a lifelong resident of Kansas City. She had been the owner of the 12-unit apartment building, of which she was a resident, for five years. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Grace DeTalent, and a son, Eugene Sutherland, both of the home; and two sisters, Mrs. Harold Lutz of 1641 East 59th, and Mrs. Helen Heckel of 104 West Armour. Services will be held at 1 o'clock Wednesday at the Newcomer chapel. Burial will be in Mount Moriah cemetery." The Kansas City Times, November 7, 1950
