In Memory of Our Loved One
A million times we miss you,
A million times we cried,
If love alone would have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still,
In our hearts we love you deeply,
And we always,always will.
God saw you were getting weary,
So He did what He thought best.
He came and stood beside you,
And whispered,"Come and rest."
You bade no one a last farewell,
Not even a good-bye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
God's Golden Gates stood open,
'Cause He saw your need to rest.
Those Golden Gates must be beauties,
Because He always picks the best.
