CHARLES BARKER TAKEN BY DEATH
Retired Farmer of Ogilville Community Dies at Home Friday Afternoon.
Charles Barker, 78, retired farmer, died at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon at his home in Ohio township near Ogilville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Elizabethtown Christian church Burial will be at Springer cemetery. The casket will be open at the residence Sunday evening until time for the church services.
Mr. Barker was born March 28, 1870, to Thomas and Jane Barker in Kentucky.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Anna Libby, at home, and Mrs. Ada Shattuck of Elizabethtown; two sons, Jerome Barker of Anderson and Ernest Barker of Columbus, and ten grandchildren.
