Mildred D. Brasher, 93, of Wellington, Kansas, homemaker and retired cook for Cedarview Nursing Home, died early Friday morning, September 29, 2006 after a brief stay at Beavercreek Care Center, Milan, Kansas.

She was born on March 10, 1913 in Caldwell, Kansas to Al and Mary (Plaugher) Rohrer.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, George S. Everhart, Orville Wirtz and Marvin Brasher, son Loren L. Everhart, daughter Donna A. Ranger, sister Arvilla Stinson and brother Truman Rohrer.

She is survived by her sons; Kyle D. Everhart and his wife Shirley of Wellington and Gordon Everhart and his wife Donna of Mooreland, Oklahoma, sisters; Twyla Jones and Nadine Jones both of Milan, brother Ivan Rohrer of Roy, Utah, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mildred will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 3, 2006 in the chapel of Day Funeral Home and Crematory, Wellington, Kansas. Pastor Sallie Shore will officiate.

Interment will follow at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, Kansas

Friends are invited to call on the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2006.

A memorial has been established in her name and loving memory with Hospice Care of Kansas, 1010 W. 8th Street, Wellington, Kansas 67152. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
