Frances Bowers Iba 12/23/1913 ~ 4/4/2003 Frances Iba, age 89, Holladay, UT, passed away peacefully Friday, April 4, 2003 in Holladay. UT. Frances was born Dec 23, 1913 in Salt Lake City, UT to Levi and Susetta Bowers. On June 26, 1933, she married Richard K. Iba, in Utah and was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Frances served faithfully in the LDS church serving in various positions. She loved to attend the temple regularly and was a temple worker. Survivors include three sons, Gerald Iba, Richard Iba, Stephen Iba; four daughters, Marcia Wilhite, Sandra McCauley, Christina Daniels, Marilyn Colton; sister, Margie Salt; 41 grand-children; 77 great-grandchildren; and six great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard K. Iba. Services will be Tues. April 8, 2003, 11 a.m. Holladay LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, 4560 S. Holladay Blvd. Friends may call Mon. 6-8 p.m. Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E, and at the church Tues. 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Holladay Memorial Park.
