This memorial marker was to have been the final resting place of Norman Talmadge Bell. His middle name in honor of his grandfather Amos Talmadge Allen. Things did not go as planned for him to live a good, long life in Mississippi, and, to eventually come to rest at Kosciusko City Cemetery.

He was called to serve his country, and he did so, with pride.

Norman was killed during World War II and is buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery (Arlington County) in Arlington, Virginia.

All gave some...some gave all. We salute YOU, and thank YOU for making the ultimate sacrifice for YOUR country!

Stand at ease soldier...and rest in peace.
