Oscar William Billett, 62, of Blairsville RD1, died at his home Sunday.
He was born in Bellefonte Aug. 30, 1913, the son of the late Frederick and Edna Gramley Billett.
He was married to the former Bernise McHenry, who survives with one son, Ronald; one daughter, Mrs. Valree Philips, both of Punxsutawney; five grandchildren, and one brother, Donald Billett of Bellefonte.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Bellefonte and a 37-year member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 206, of Bellefonte, where he was a past governor. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1231 of Punxsutawney, and the Burrell Township Rod and Gun Club.
He worked for the G. C. Murphy Company for 39 years and was a former manager of the Blairsville store.
Services will be held at the chapel of the Richard L. Shoemaker Funeral Home, 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. C. W. Wion officiating. Interment will be in Meyers Cemetery, Buffalo Run, Bellefonte RD.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and in the Buffalo Run United Methodist Church, Wednesday from 1:30 to 2 p.m.
