Remains Of Paul Templin Laid To Rest With Appropriate Ceremonies.

A large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends were gathered here Saturday to pay their final tribute to Paul Templin, whose remains were laid to rest with appropriate ceremonies, interment taking place in the Woodmen cemetery out in East Avenue.

Funeral services conducted at the family residence at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Richard C. Talbort Jr., rector of the church of the Messiah, reading the impressive Episcopal service for the dead. During the service the choir sweetly rendered those grand old hymns. "Just as I am " and "I Need Thee Every Hour.' At the conclusion of the services the Guadalupe Camp, W. O. W., of which Mr. Templin had been a member for years, took charge of the remains, after which the long procession formed, moving to the cemetery, where the solemn and impressive burial service of the W. O. W. was conducted by the order as they consigned their deceased brothers to a last resting place.

Many beautiful offerings completely mantel the spot where rests all that is mortal of the loved husband, father and brother.

Aside from the numerous floral expressions of warm sympathy ans esteem of the decedent sent by friends there were a number of very lovely special tributes, among them wreaths from Hermann Sons, of which he was a long time member, the W. O. W., and beautiful emblems from the Ladies Guild of the Church of the Messiah, the lady employees of Hoskins Mercantile Company and also one from the firm.

Mr. Templin was a member of the Lutheran church, and his loved ones have the sweet assurance that all was well with him, having assured them of his faith and trust in Christ during his last days.

Notwithstanding the bad roads, many friends from the county were in attendance at his funeral, his circle of friends and acquaintance having been very wide.

Out of town relatives who were here for the funeral were his twin brother, Charles Templin of Three Rivers, a daughter, Mrs. Tillie Petras of San Antonio, Max Templin of Engle and Otto Templin of Muldoon, both brothers, and Mesdames Martha Loessin of Taylor and Fritz Olle of Flatonia and Mrs. Loris Burns of Cost, all sisters, and a niece, Mrs. W. B. Bruns of Seguin.

The acting pall bearers were Dr. J. A. Maness, Albert Voges, N. D. Cone, B. Neighbors, Geo J. Tieken, R. A. Remschel, W. W. Johnston and B. B. Hoskins Jr.
