Arnold was jolly, happy and always positive. He enjoyed watching all kinds of ball games and visiting his hometown, Fountain City, Indiana. He graduated from Fountain City High School, where he played basketball. His nickname in high school was, "Speak", because he was so quiet. I remember him snapping beans for my mother, while watching a ballgame. Arnold was my father. I called him "Daddy" all of his life.
