Jeannetta B. Callear, 88, of Peoria passed away at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at her son's residence.

Jeannetta was born on May 1, 1919, in Peoria, a daughter of Clarence and Nora Thompson Brisbin. She married Absolom "Happy" Callear on Nov. 14, 1935, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1995, in Peoria.

She is survived by one son, Richard Lee (Marcelle) Callear of Peoria; one granddaughter, Dianna (Tim Demmin) Callear of Peoria; one grandson, Richard (Manuela Miller) Callear of Peoria; six great-grandchildren; and caregiver, Tina Darr.

Jeannetta was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and four brothers.

Burial will be in Pottstown Cemetery in Pottstown.
