Mrs. Mary E. Swadling, widow of
Charles H. Swadling, died at the home
of her son, Oliver Swadling west of
Red Creek Thursday night. She had
been in failing health a long time.
Mrs. Swadling was a former resident
of Ontario, and had resided in the
Wolcott township about 25 years.
Surviving are three sons; Oliver,
Edison of Rochester, Carl of Syracuse;
a daughter Grace; eight grandchildren;
a brother William Lotz of Brown City, MI
and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was conducted at the
home of Oliver Swadling, Sunday afternoon.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery.
