OLIVER SWADLING

S. Oliver Swadling, 76, of Victory
died Saturday night, August
21, in Myers Community Hospital
at Sodus. He had been in failing
health for some time.

A son of the late Charles & Mary
Lotz Swadling, he had lived around
Wolcott, Red Creek and Fair Haven
all of his life.

Surviving are his widow, Mattie
of Victory: three daughters,
Mrs. Cecil Hillegeer of Ontario,
Mrs. Ralph Goodelle of Weedsport
and Mrs. Dwight Standbrook
Of Red Creek, one son Wendell
Swadling of Rochester; one
brother, Carl Swadling of Apulia
Station six grandchildren, several
nieces and nephews.

A service was held at 2 p. m.
Wednesday at the Becker Funeral
Home at Red Creek with burial
in Union Hill Cemetery. Rev.
Richard Wentz of Red Creek, retired
Methodist minister, officiated.

Son of Charles & Mary Swadling. Brother of Grace, Edison and Carl Swadling. Husband of Martha "Mattie" Fosdick. Father of Ruth, Oliver, Alice and Doris.
