Geneva Lorene Bonner McBride, 90, of Corsicana, Tx passed away on December 4, 2021.Geneva was born to Dee L. and Stella Cox Bonner in Angus, Texas on November 20, 1931. Geneva was a graduate of Corsicana High School in 1948 and was a member of the very first National Honor Society at Corsicana High School. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and retired from Adam Hat Factory after 48 years. She was preceded in death by her husband W.E. McBride, her parents, brothers Lawrence, Freddie and Clarence Bonner, sister Ethelyn Bonner Stokes.


The family wishes to thank Twilight Home of Corsicana and Hand N Hand Hospice for providing care and comfort and caring neighbors Robert Miles and wife Bettie for their years of friendship. The family has planned a visitation on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 10 to 11 in the morning. A funeral service celebrating Geneva's life will follow at 11 o'clock in the Magnolia Chapel of Corley Funeral Home with Gary Johnson officiating.


A private graveside will take place at Hamilton Beeman where Geneva will be laid to rest next to her husband W.E. McBride.
