Passes at 54 Years

Funeral services for Glenn S.
McCrea were held on Monday
afternoon at the McCrea homestead
on Atlantic Ave. extension,
Walworth, where he had lived the
greater part of his life. The Rev.
Clarence F. French of Walworth
officiated and burial was in the
West Walworth Cemetery.
Mr. McCrea, the only son of
Joseph McCrea and Emma Swadling
McCrea-Collins, was born
March 29, 1892 on the McCrea
homestead. In November 1918 he
was married in Macedon to Mae Leno,
daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Leno.

He leaves his wife Mrs. Mae L.
McCrea, a sister, F. Emile
Bader of Webster, his step-father Dr.
F. B. Collins of Webster, and a
nephew, Glenn McCrea Bader of
Rochester.

The- community will miss this
well-known dairy farmer, who was
representative of the pioneer families
of Ontario and Walworth, and
one of the organizers of the
Western New York Milk Producers
Association. Mrs. McCrea, has for
many years been the Walworth
Center correspondent for the Fairport
Herald-Mail.
