pub in the Beckley, WV, Post-Herald on Tuesday June 18, 1963 - LUMBER OFFICIAL IS DEATH VICTIM - Forest H. Lynch, 69, of Blue Jay, died at his home at 4.30pm on Monday, following a short illness. Born July 23, 1893 in Corry, PA, he was son of the late P. C. Lynch and Mary Z, Lynch. He was treasurer of the Liquidating Trustees of the Blue Jay Lumber Co at Blue Jay, VP of the Boswell Lumber Co in Boswell, PA and was general manager of the old Blue Jay Lumber Co. At the time of his death, he also was engaged in the real estate business. He was a member of St. Frances de Sales Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs Dollie S. Lynch of Blue Jay; 2 brothers, Chester A. of Alloy and Charles A, of Beckley; and 2 sisters, Mrs Grace K. Lynch and Mrs E.J. Fourney both of Blue Jay. The body is at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral home pending completions of arrangements. ----- same paper on Wednesday June 19, 1963 - LYNCH, Forest H., 69, of Blue Jay. The body is at the Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Chapel in Beckley. Requiem high mass will be on Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic church with the Rev. Father Michael Sazy the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Addition of Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements by Rose & Quesenberry Funeral Home.
