Mark Acheson Obituary

Mark Louis Acheson of Boardman was born January 22, 1956 in Linton, North Dakota the son of Ray and Ruth (Reierson) Acheson. He passed away in Boardman on Tuesday March 29, 2022 at the age of 66.

Mark grew up, attended school and graduated from high school in Pollock, South Dakota. In 1977, he moved from South Dakota to Boardman, Oregon where he took a job with Portland General Electric. After several years with PGE he started working in agriculture repairing irrigation equipment. He has worked for Oregon Hay in Boardman for nearly fifteen years repairing irrigation lines. 

Mark was very mechanically inclined and able to repair many things, he was also always willing to lend a hand when people were in need. He enjoyed going to his grandsons basketball games.

He is survived by his children; (names removed); thirteen grandchildren; long time companion,(Name removed); two sisters, Sonja Seymour and Gudrun Berndt; and a brother, Monte Acheson; and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday April 8, 2022 at the Burns Mortuary Chapel (685 W. Hermiston Avenue Hermiston, OR). Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Boardman. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
