Daughter of James and Elizabeth Lyle Wilson. Married Lorenzo Dow Tipton (his second wife) in 1862 in Tennessee. Migrated to Jack Co.TX.about 1880. Lorenzo buried in Barton Chapel Cemetery, Jack Co., TX. She is the mother of William, Margaret, Annie Eliza, & James Ireland Tipton. Grandmother of many including Eunice Simpson Strauss and Pawnee Simpson Kenyon who are buried near her in this cemetery.
