Wife of the late John Simms Wimsatt I for 22 years, mother of three boys. Grandmother of two. Sister of the late Perine (Perry) Conn Ivice Snell.

Camille was the eldest daughter of the late Charles and Mary Ivice. She was Executive Secretary to the President of Bendix Corporation during her twenties and helped her husband run Wimsatt Appliance in Plymouth. After her husband's death in 1963, Camille attended Eastern Michigan University where she graduated with Bachelors and Masters Degrees in speech/language pathology. Following graduation, she served the Plymouth Community School District until she retired in 1986.

Camille was Past President of the General Motors Girls Club (1940-41), Board Chair of Elderwise (Ann Arbor), and member of the Plymouth Women's Club and Nomads Travel Club. Throughout her life, she enjoyed gardening, ballroom dancing and travel. She especially loved discussing current events and politics. She was an avid reader of health books and whodunits. Above all, Camille was dedicated to her family and to her profession.
