Retired Lumber Merchant Dies

A retired lumber dealer, Ezra Theodore Whitehead, died in the Indiana Masonic Home Hospital Hospital, Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock.

The body is being sent from the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home to Remington for funeral and burial services.

Native of State

Mr. Whitehead was the son of the late John Henry and Elizabeth Carver Whitehead, and was born at Rensselaer on July 14, 1873.

After his retirement, Mr. and Mrs. Whitehead entered the Home on March 16, 1957, from the Wheatfield lodge No. 642, F. & A. M., at Wheatfield.

His widow, Mrs. Loretta M. Marrow Whitehead, survives with two sons, Fred Whitehead, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Ralph Whitehead, of Michigan City.
