Fred A. Whitehead
Funeral services for Fred A. Whitehead, who died yesterday at Broward General Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Fairchild Chapel with the Rev. C. C. Stauffer officiating.
Burial will be in Lauderdale Memorial Park. Friends may call at Fairchild Funeral Home between 7 and 9 p.m. today.
Born in Remington, Ind., he came here in 1936 from Miami and was manager of Lindsley Lumber Co. during that period until his recent retirement because of poor health.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, Wilton Manors; a past exalted ruler of the Elks, honorary life member, lodge trustee and past chairman of the Harry-Anna Crippled Childrens Home trust fund.
Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Mildred Ruth Whitehead, and a son, Craig A., both of Ft. Lauderdale; the mother, Mrs. Loretta Maude Whitehead, Franklin, Ind., and a brother, Ralph, Michigan City, Ind.
