A marriage of interest to their many friends was that of D.E. (Eb) Maynor and Miss Onzel Horton, which occurred Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the Third Presbyterian Manse, in Birmingham, Rev. J.A. Bryan officiating. The bride is the accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.H. Horton. The groom is a son of T.A. Maynor and is employed at Wright Drug Company. The happy couple will be at home with Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Maynor, until their new home is completed which is being built on Fourth Avenue.

David Ebin Maynor was a Navy veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He served as a pharmacist and mortician in the Navy 16 years. He owned Maynor Drugstore in Oneonta, Alabama and retired to Anniston, Alabama, where he died at the age of 75.
Services for David Ebin Maynor, 75, of Brentwood Drive, Anniston, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Covenant Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John R. Hall and Dr. W. W. Maynor officiating. Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery with Gray Brown-Service in charge. Mr. Maynor died Thursday at Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include a son, Dan H. Maynor of Huntsville; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice M. Kelley, Mrs. Margaret M. Vinson and Mrs. Thelma S. Bentley, all of Anniston, and a brother, W. T. Maynor of Meridian, Miss. Pallbearers will be Mike Vinson, Tommy Vinson, Thomas C. Maynor, Palmer Peterson, Bob Mitchel and James Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of the Church of the Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Maynor was an Oneonta native and businessman. He served as a pharmacist and mortician in the Navy for 16 years. He was a former resident of San Diego.
