Married 50 years to the love of his life Verlia Fay Callahan - October 14, 1955

At a very early age he worked for his uncle driving a log truck and worked in the stone mills. He worked at Kinser Lumber for several years and then went out on his own as a contractor building houses, while still building houses he opened Laminated Tops in 1968 building counter tops for the central and southern part of the state, he also purchased and operated Bloomington Ready Mix selling concrete to local contractors. He was a co- owner and developer of Clear Creek Estates, Farmers Field and West Point Subdivisions in Bloomington, after selling Laminated Tops and semi retiring he was active in farming and woodworking. He made beautiful oak furniture as family heirlooms for his children and grandchildren. He also drove a dump truck for his daughter and son-in-law at Young Trucking from 1999 to present. He received many awards for his excellence in the construction industry. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed trading guns with his many friends. He enjoyed hunting, mushroom hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of the Souls Harbor Apostolic Church, and served as a trustee, he played an active part in church in all his years, and helped with the construction and remodeling of many buildings. God and church was 1st in his life. He is survived by - His wife, Verlia (Fay), Daughters, Sharon Renee Newsome, Karen Sue Young, son-in-law Greg Young, Grandchildren - Jacob and Joshua Young, Jessica and Craig Newsome. Twin Sister: Janice Rogers, Velma Robertson, Naomi (Toots) Hedrick. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters Venita Gayle, and Verna Mae.

He will be greatly missed by Jerusha Sears, Chris Head and Donald (Chip) Newsome and numerous other friends and business associates.

Services at the Souls Harbor Apostolic Church
Officiating will be Rev. David Butcher, Rev. Fred Stanger, Rev. Bruce Bond.
Burial at the Clear Creek Cemetery.

Donation may be made to the Souls Harbor Apostolic Church.

1940 Census - Clifford(33) & Ruby(31) Eads are found living on a farm they own valued at $800 and located in Perry Township, Monroe County, Indiana. Both have 8th grade educations Clifford is employed as a machine runner at a stone quarry earning $800 in 1939. Children listed in the home were Naomi(13); Velma(9); Verna(7); Kenneth(4) and Janice(4).
